From
the very
day the commandment was given to build Jerusalem
to the very
day Jesus rides into the city is exactly 173,880 days.
“Know
therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore
and
to build Jerusalem
unto the Messiah
the Prince shall be
seven weeks, and
threescore and two weeks: …” (Daniel
9:25)
As
one week = 7 years (Gen 29:27;
Dan 9:27)
Therefore we have (7 + 62) x 7 = 69 x
7 = 483 years
There are 360 days according to
the Jewish year (Rev 11:3; 12:6, 14) with time (1 year),
times (2
years) and a half ” = 3½ years x 360 = 1260 days
Therefore we
have 483 years x 360
days = 173,880 DAYS
2. FOR
CALENDAR YEARS (WESTERN) - 2 parts
First, Artaxerxes
decrees to build
Jerusalem on 1st Nisan 445BC which is 1st
March
445BC. As there is no year “0” then this equals 444
years and not 445.

Second, Jesus Christ
(Messiah the
Prince) rides into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday 25th Nisan
32AD which
is the 6th April 32 AD. This equals 32
years.
(Four days
later on Wednesday 10th
April, 32AD, Jesus goes to the cross).
Total years = 444 + 32 = 476 years.
Calculating
for the adjustments of LEAP
and NORMAL years and EXTRA days we have:
1. Now ¼
of all years are LEAP
years: ¼
x 476 = 119 x 366 days =
43,554 days
+
2. And ¾ of
all years are NORMAL
years: ¾ x 476 = 357 x 365
days = 130,305 days
Total
= 173,859 days
3.While every 4th
year is a
leap year every 100th year is not a leap year
therefore
subtract 4 days = 173,855 days
4. Now add EXTRA 25
days for 1st Nisan to 25th Nisan:
add 25
days = 173,880
DAYS
The prophecy
of 69 weeks, or
173,880 days, is exact to the day
for either the Jewish year or the Western
calendar year.
