“THE CALVINIST ACCOUNT OF FREEING WILLY”

Using the Smoke and Mirrors Bible study method, your ‘friendly spider to the fly … come into my web’ Calvinist … (and yes … we will continue to call them that, instead of their latest back slapping, self-appointed title of The Doctrines of Grace … you know … cockroaches when discovered run under their next rock … Mormons are now called Latter Day Saints), proclaims that man has a free will.

“Really? Oh that’s good!” replies the average one-hour church attender plopped in a pew … “well I’m a Calvinist then!”

Deceitfully applying the pea under the cup routine, the lip licking Calvinist would have us believe that a totally depraved man … you know … no free will and no heart to seek God … suddenly finds that he can.

Well … howdy doody Pardner! Black is white and white is black!

Yes Dear Reader, like a bride randomly throwing rice at a wedding ceremony, a few unsuspecting targets … involuntarily waking up from total depravity, suddenly find themselves saying “Who is God? I must have Jesus as my Saviour!”

You will notice the humble pride of the Calvinist (hand proudly on chest … ‘Oh! that God chose me’ type) as he explains the unexplainable … twisting verses to his own destruction (2 Peter 3:16).

But here’s one verse no Calvinist dare touch …

“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:11-12)

The scripture twisting Calvinist substitutes “as received him” with “as were born again”.

Dear Reader, can you see what they have done?

The Calvinist believes God makes us born again with the Holy Spirit to regenerate the totally depraved … so that they can then have free will to choose Jesus.

The Calvinist believes that the person who has been hit on the head with a spiritual rice grain, is regenerated by the Holy Spirit, in order to exercise his free will to get saved.

And here’s the real crime … there is not one scripture to back this up!

Dear Reader, there is no spiritual rice grain event in the Bible. There is no regeneration by the Holy Spirit prior to salvation.

Like the lip licking Calvinist Used Car Salesman says “All cars are for sale” … knowing full well that they are not.
