I GUESS
A LOT OF US HAVE FELT LIKE THIS FROM TIME TO TIME.
WE FEEL
SO SINFUL THAT WE THINK THAT GOD WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH US.
SOMETIMES
THIS FEELING CAN GET SO BAD THAT WE WANT TO
RUN AWAY
AND HIDE.
SOMETIMES
IT HAS THE OPPOSITE EFFECT ON PEOPLE. THEY RECKON THEY MAY AS WELL GO THE
"WHOLE HOG" AND GET HUNG FOR A SHEEP
AND NOT
JUST A LAMB.

HOW BAD
IS BAD?
Is lying
bad?
Is
stealing bad?
Is
killing someone bad?
Is robbing
a bank bad?
Is
running out on your family bad?
Is
deliberately falsifying your tax and hoping to get away with it bad?
Is
"borrowing" something and not deliberately returning it bad?
Was
Hitler bad?
Was Idi
Amin bad?
Is not
giving to those in need bad?
Is
swearing bad?
Is not
honoring your mother and father bad?
WHO
DECIDES?
What's bad? and who decides it? Who decides
how bad is bad and how good is good? Where is the cut-off mark? Who decides what's
too bad and what that means?
Is it OK to steal ten times but on the
eleventh time that's bad?
Is it bad to steal twenty times but on the
twenty-first time that's too bad?
The Roman Catholic Church has a sin register
and a list of all the sins and the amount of penance that needs to be paid for
each sin. They've raised countless billions over the years with this "nice
little money earner".
There was a bloke named Tetzel in 1517
cranked up this fraud for the Catholics whereby you could go and sin and then
pay the church to get let off. People could get their relatives out of
Purgatory as well with large donations of money to the Roman Catholic Church.
The saying went like this:
"When the money in the coffer rings, The soul out of puragatory springs." There is a reward of ten trillion dollars for anyone who can find Purgatory in the King James Bible. (Why? It can't be found!)
HOW MANY
LAWS DO YOU HAVE TO BREAK BEFORE YOU ARE GUILTY?
"For whosoever shall keep the
whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 2:
10)
This means that if you break just one law, you're guilty of the whole bang lot in God's eyes.
QUESTION: How many times do you have to lie to be called a liar?
ANSWER: Just once.
QUESTION: How many times do you have to steal before you can be called a thief? Is it ten times or is it just once?
ANSWER: Just once.
QUESTION: How many times do you have to look at a woman with lust in your mind before you are called an adulterer?
ANSWER: Just once.
If you're reading this paper and have found out that you're a lying, thieving fornicator, you may be a little shocked.
WHERE DO
LIARS, THIEVES AND FORNICATORS GO WHEN THEY DIE?
"Know ye not that the unrighteous
shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither FORNICATORS,
nor idolators, nor adulterers .... nor THIEVES shall inherit
the kingdom of God"
(1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
"But the unbelieving .. .. and murderers
... .. ...and all LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone...."(Revelation 21:8)
This all may sound incredible to you, but God
says that committing one sin is enough for Him to throw you into hell forever
for everlasting torment.
ONE SIN MAKES YOU TOO BAD IN GOD'S EYES.
BUT WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT THE GOOD WE DO?
“...every man at his best state is
altogether vanity.” (Psalm 39: 5)
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and
all out righteousnesses are as filthy rags... " (lsaiah 64: 6)
God says that even the good we do here on
earth is nothing but garbage and muck in His sight anyhow.
Mother Teresa failed to impress God with her "good works". God looked on them as filthy rags.
SUMMARY:
1. We are separated from God (and he
can justly throw us into hell) because of one "small" sin
2. We are separated from God (and he can
justly throw us into hell) because of a million "large" sins
3. God is definitely not impressed with any good works we do
WHAT'S
GOD'S ATTITUDE TO ANYONE STILL ALIVE?
"For this is good and
acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour WHO WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED,
and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. " ( 1 Timothy 2:3 – 4 )
Here we have it in black and white -
GOD
WOULD HAVE ALL MEN SAVED.
HE WANTS
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US TO TURN TO HIM, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, SO THAT WE ALL - THAT
MEANS EVERYONE OF US, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY, THE
VERY BAD, THE TOO BAD, THE LOST, THE LONELY, THOSE WEIGHED DOWN BY SIN AND
THOSE SICK WITH SIN, THOSE WHO'VE HAD ENOUGH OF SIN, THE MURDERERS, THE RAPISTS,
THE SERIAL OFFENDERS, THE CHILD MOLESTERS, NO MATTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE,
WILL/SHALL/CAN BE SAVED!
NO
EXCEPTIONS!
There
are no exceptions - no mention of saving good people or even bad people but not
very bad people!
Jesus
said “:..him that cometh to me l WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT. " (John 6:37)
"The Lord ...is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING THAT
ANY SHOULD PERlSH, but that all should come to repentance. "
(2 Peter 3:9)
No
mention here of being too bad or not good enough. Jesus said here that should
Hitler come to Him,
He would not turn Him away.
WHAT
STOPS PEOPLE RECEIVING JESUS AS SAVIOUR?
It's
your decision entirely. Do you want
Jesus
Christ to save you?
Jesus
says "And ye will not come to me,
that ye might have life." (John 5:40)

DWELL ON THESE

"For when we were yet without strength,
in due time CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY. But God commendeth his
love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:6,8)
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: THOUGH
YOUR SINS BE AS SCARLET, THEY SHALL BE AS WHITE AS snow; though they be red
like crimson, they SHALL BE AS WOOL." (lsaiah 1:18)
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16)
"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name
WHOSOEVER believeth in him
shall receive remission of sins." (Acts 10:43)
"For the Son of man is come to
seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10)
