I'M NOT GROWING SPIRITUALLY

Sometimes it would seem that the easiest thing in the world is to get saved, because after this, many a Christian race turns into a crawl. It seems to be a "minefield" littered with backslidings, trials, false starts, tribulations, lukewarmness, discouragements and temptations.

WHAT GOES WRONG?

We fall into the trap of thinking that because we are saved, God will make things easier for us and there is no further need for correction.

Moreover, our humble clay insists on telling God how to be the perfect potter !

**********************************

TO COUNTERACT SPIRITUAL WAYWARDNESS YOU WILL BE URGED TO:

1. Use the King James Bible exclusively and forego the need to study Greek and Hebrew.

2. Believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture.

3. See that Calvinist doctrine is a threat to Christianity.

4. Praise God for all situations and glory in your tribulations whatever they may be. 5. Check yourself against a list that shows how Christians can easily fall into religious error, doctrine and practice.

********************************

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction."

( 2 Peter 2:1)

1. USE THE KING JAMES BIBLE EXCLUSIVELY & FORGET ABOUT THE GREEK AND HEBREW

Did you know that all you need to understand the Bible is to get a King James Bible, a concordance and a comprehensive Webster’s Dictionary (prior to 1970).

To understand 100% of the Bible, you need NO Greek or Hebrew. This has been a lie that has been perpetrated on the average Christian by "clever and scholarly" academics.

There have been over 300 versions of the Bible published since 1881 and only one is the inerrant, infallible and inspired word of God - the King James. All the rest are corrupt and frauds! Pray that God will let you see this.

WHY?

Very simply, they have been based on two corrupt Roman Catholic documents (Vaticanus and Sinaiticus). This includes the New King James Version which has as much to do with the King James Bible as Sadam Hussein has to do with world peace.

QUESTION

When fixing a Holden car you don't get the Mazda manual, do you? When finding out what God says, you don't reach for Satan's words. Send for our brochure on the different translations or get Gail Riplinger's book on "New Age Bible Versions".

2. BELIEVE IN THE RAPTURE PRIOR TO

THE SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION

People say that they can't see the Rapture in the Bible. Only the King James says to "study" the word. The Pre-Tribulation Rapture is throughout the King James. Send for our brochures and pray that God reveals this to you. Do you want to grow spiritually?

3. SEE THAT CALVINIST DOCTRINE IS A THREAT TO CHRISTIANITY

Once again send for our brochure on Calvinism. Calvin was a sincere man but he was sincerely wrong. He got "justification by faith alone" right and was one of the first to pioneer Systematic Theology but he couldn't rightly divide the word. So much so, he didn't write a commentary on one book of the Bible - The Revelation. Why? He couldn't understand it. Want to grow spiritually? Reject Calvinism.

4. PRAISE GOD FOR ALL SITUATIONS AND GLORY IN YOUR TRIBULATIONS

Do you have a bad habit that you can't break? Does your anger not only not get better but it gets worse? Have ever been on the point of desperation with the sin and the sins in your life such that you think that you can't be saved? Let's see what Paul has to say about settings, trials and tribulations.

"(1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (3) And not only so, but WE GLORY IN Tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; (4) And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."

(Romans 5:1-4,5)

Imagine that! Giving glory to God when trials, tribulations or testing come along. When this happens, if anyone is carnal, weak, blind, wicked, haughty and irritable and so on, tribulations and trials will only make that person more so. Trials don't make people impatient they only prove that the person is impatient. Situations don't make a person angry, they show that the person is by nature - angry.

Put some washing powder in your hand and drip some water onto it. It gets warm! The water didn't create the heat in the powder - it only showed that there was heat hidden in the powder. Is a little aggravation by someone enough for you to bring forth heat?

Those who blame their anger on others don't understand the "nature of the criminal that lurks within". God reveals our flesh reaction to show our corruptness and to flee to Him for 100% help. Thank Him for the trials and ask Him not to take them from you but to leave them there to humble you and bring glory to Himself through the destruction of your flesh reactions. In Acts 14:22 we read "We MUST through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God."

THERE IS NO CHOICE.

Tribulation takes from a person everything in which he or she trusts and leaves him/her naked and destitute. It prevents him from seeking help in his own spiritual good works. It causes him to despair of any other person; to look away from himself and everything else and to throw himself on God's mercy.

"My brethren, COUNT IT ALL JOY when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. "

(James 1:2-4)

DOES GOD WANT YOU TO BECOME

SOMETHING?

Answer: Yes He does. God wants you to have more love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

SOME WISE WORDS

"If anyone could tell you the shortest and surest way to all happiness and perfection, he must tell you to make it a rule to yourself to thank and praise God for everything that happens to you. For it is certain that whatever seeming calamity happens to you, if you thank and praise God for it, you turn it into a blessing." William Law - English clergyman, 18th Century "l thank God for my handicaps, for through them l have found myself, my work and my God." Helen Keller - blind and dumb since birth.

"Blessed is he who submits to the will of God; he can never be unhappy. Men may deal with him as they will - he is without care; he knows that "all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose." Martin Luther - the great reformer who nearly bled the Roman Catholics to death.

"Cry for grace from God to be able to see God's hand in every trial, and then for grace to submit at once to it. Not only to submit, but to acquiesce and to rejoice in it. l think there is generally an end to troubles when we get to that."

Charles Haddon Spurgeon.
