THIS IS A GOOD QUESTION
....AND
IT DESERVES A GOOD
ANSWER.
THIS IS A QUESTION THAT
OFTEN CROSSES OUR MIND WHEN WE THINK OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIED.
IF YOU SEARCH ALL THE
RELIGIONS ON EARTH, YOU WILL FIND THAT THERE ARE ONLY 5 POSSIBILITIES WHEN YOU
DIE...
1. YOU GO TO PURGATORY
2. YOU GET REINCARNATED
3. YOU’RE ANNIHILATED FOREVER
4. YOU GO TO HEAVEN
5. YOU GO TO HELL
*************************************************
IN
THIS PAPER WE’LL EXAMINE WHAT MOTHER TERESA HAD TO SAY ABOUT GETTING TO HEAVEN
AND WE’LL
COMPARE
THIS TO WHAT THE
KING
JAMES BIBLE HAS TO SAY.
AFTER
READING THIS PAPER
YOU’LL
BE IN NO DOUBT AS TO WHERE MOTHER TERESA IS
SPENDING
ETERNITY.
1. MOTHER TERESA BELIEVED
IN MANY WAYS TO HEAVEN
She considered that
there were many ways to heaven - Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and other religions
were acceptable ways to her.
THE BIBLE SAYS:
“Jesus saith unto him, I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, BUT
BY ME.” (John 14:6)
“He that believeth on
him is not condemned: but HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY,
because he HATH NOT BELIEVED IN THE NAME OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF
GOD.” (John 3:18)
“He that believeth on
the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see
life; but the WRATH OF GOD ABIDETH ON HIM.” (John 3:36)
“That all men should
honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. HE THAT HONOURETH NOT THE
SON HONOURETH NOT THE FATHER which hath sent him.” (John 5:23) “WHOSOEVER DENlETH THE SON, THE
SAME HATH NOT THE FATHER: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the
Father also.” (1 John 2:23)
“He that hath the Son
hath life; and HE THAT HATH NOT THE SON OF GOD HATH NOT LIFE.”
(1John5:12)

HOW
CLEAR IS CLEAR? On this evidence, is
the dear Mother in Heaven or Hell?
2. MOTHER TERESA
BELIEVED THAT WE MUST WORK TO GET TO HEAVEN
She believed that the
chief means of salvation is through the sacraments ministered by the Roman
Catholic church i.e. the mass, baptism, confession and last rites.
THE BIBLE SAYS:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
NOT OF WORKS LEST ANY
MAN SHOULD BOAST.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) “And if by grace, then is it no more of
works: otherwise
grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace:
otherwise work is no more work.” (Romans 11:6)
“BUT TO HIM THAT
WORKETH NOT, but believeth on him
that justifeth the ungodly, HIS FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” (Romans 4:5)
COMMENT:
HOW CLEAR IS CLEAR? On this evidence, is the dear Mother in Heaven or
Hell?
3. MOTHER TERESA
BELIEVED THAT NO-ONE CAN KNOW WHERE THEY’LL GO AFTER THEY DIE.
This is why prayers are
offered and masses performed for the dead.
Cardinal Krol, former spiritual
leader for Philadelphia’s one million Catholics, said that his major worries
were “My salvation and getting to heaven.” The Vatican’s highest theological
authority, Cardinal Ratzinger, (when this Brochure was first written, now the pope) expresses the same
concern for his salvation. New York’s Cardinal O’Connor says “Church teaching
is that I don’t know, at any given moment, what my eternal future will be. I
can hope, pray, do my very best - but I still don’t know. Pope John II doesn’t
know that he will go to heaven, nor does Mother Teresa of Calcutta...”.
The latter expressed her
tenuous hope at the 1993 Presidential Prayer breakfast: “One of the most
demanding things for me is traveling everywhere - and with publicity. I have
said to Jesus that if I don’t go to heaven for anything else, I will be going
to heaven for all the traveling and the publicity, because it has purified me
and sacrificed me and made me really ready to go to heaven.”
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS:
“These things have I
written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW
(present absolute certainty) that ye HAVE (present possession)
eternal life.” (1John 5:13)
“He that believeth on the
Son HATH (past tense) everlasting life: and he that believeth not
the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)
“My sheep hear my voice,
and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and
they shall NEVER perish.” (John 10:27-28).
COMMENT:
Anyone who places his
hope for salvation in anything (such as ability to remain faithful to Christ,
good works, sacraments, prayers, rituals or baptism) in addition to Christ’s
sacrifice of Himself for our sins upon the cross, has not believed Jesus Christ
and his promise. He/she has rejected God’s Word and has denied the gospel.
HOW CLEAR IS CLEAR? On this evidence, is the dear Mother in Heaven or Hell?
4. MOTHER
TERESA BELIEVED THAT PERSONAL SUFFERING HELPED TO ACHIEVE ONE’S SALVATION
Her patients were not given proper medication and
that the beds, furnishings and general conditions more closely resembled extermination
camps rather than hospitals and clinics. They weren’t given painkillers beyond
aspirin for the sort of pain that went with terminal cancer. Many Catholic nuns
and priests wear hair undergarments and put stones in their shoes, whip
themselves and try to merit heaven by suffering. Poverty and suffering are not
simply endured but are sought after and even created.
Mother Teresa’s bank accounts had tens of millions
of dollars so that she could afford all the food, heat, furnishings and medical
attention ever needed. Hereby Mother Teresa hoped to help all her patients to
heaven through the suffering she imposed on them.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS:
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved.”(Romans 10: 13).
Comment: NOT whosoever shall call upon the name of
suffering, the church, the priest, good works or baptism shall be saved! When
Mother Teresa had heart trouble and old age complications, she checked into the
finest and costliest clinics in the West.

5. MOTHER TERESA BELIEVED THAT BAPTISM COULD SAVE HER PATIENTS
Her assistants would put damp cloths on the fevered
brows and say the magic formula that allegedly erased original sin and gave
entrance into heaven.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD
BOAST.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
HOW CLEAR IS CLEAR? On this evidence,
is the dear Mother in Heaven or Hell?
CONCLUSION
Unfortunately Mother Teresa believed in salvation
by faith PLUS works . She now joins every
Pope and hundreds of millions of Roman Catholics in hell. If she didn’t repent
of believing in her own works, God has no choice but to send her to hell.
The Bible clearly points out that being saved
(going to heaven) is the result of trusting alone (having faith alone) in the
finished work of Jesus Christ alone. When Jesus died on the cross, He took His
own blood and wrote across everybody’s sins (past, present and future sins) -
