Salvation

by Grace

The Bible speaks for itself: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

(Bible book EPHESIANS 2: 8,9.)

Grace means that you do not earn or deserve anything from God, but that you receive it through the person of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith.

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” (JOHN 20:31

“ For God so loved the world that he gave his only be begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

(Bible book: John chapter 3: verse 16.)

Faith comprehends Christ only; faith does not ask who and what you are. Faith is a nonmeritorious system of perception, depending totally on the object of faith. Faith that includes works, even works of love, is not a faith that justifies and saves.

For faith to be effective, it must lay hold of Jesus Christ, and nothing else, faith alone and only in Jesus Christ.

In salvation,

Jesus Christ is the issue

not man

“For this is good and acceptable in the site of God our Saviour; who will have all man to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. for there is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus;  who gave himself a ransom for all…”   (Bible book:  1 Timothy 2: 3,6.)

Faith comprehends the person and the work of  Jesus Christ, not you and your worth or production.
It is Christ who satisfies the Justice of God.

Jesus Christ is the issue in salvation
because
salvation is made possible

through his death and

resurrection

“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”

(Bible book: Romans 4:25.)

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust,

that he might bring us to God...”. (Bible book: 1 Peter 3:18)

Salvation is not by human

works or production or merit

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…” (Bible book: Titus 3: 5)

“He that believeth on him is not, condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.”

(Bible book: John 3:18)

Salvation is totally separated from the production of man, even works of love and charity; it is by faith alone and only, and that faith is not in your works or person, but in the person and works of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says God cannot lie
      (Titus 1:2)
In hope of
       eternal life, which God,
     that cannot lie, promised
    before the world began;

Will you take him at his word? If so tell God the Father, that you are believing in his son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as your Saviour.

Lord God, I’m a sinner and deserve your wrath in hell. I believe Jesus shed his blood and died for my sins as total payment. I am now trusting on him alone to save me. Amen.

It is faith in Jesus Christ

that saves you for
Eternity

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
(John 14:1,6)

Getting saved does not depend on feelings or an emotional experience. It comes to you by believing what God has promised in his word.

“For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed”.

(Romans 10:11).
