“ARE YOU AN
ATHEIST?”
Dear
Reader, do you want to know how a can of Baked Beans appeared?
Well,
fifteen billions of years ago … and out of nothing … there was a
big
bang.
From
this explosion, rocks appeared, and as time passed by,
aluminium formed
in these rocks, which then formed into a can.
While
this was happening, some beans and tomato sauce emerged
out of
the rocks … and got into the can.
Then
out of the sky, the letters of ‘Baked Beans’ came into being on
a wrap-around
label.
You
would laugh … “Don’t be ridiculous … I’m not an idiot! All this would
have to
have had a designer … and a maker!”
TEST ONE :
The person who
thinks the BAKED
BEANS can had no
designer
is :
□
A.
Intelligent
□
B. A fool
□
C. Has an
ulterior
motive for denying the obvious
Now
just suppose that I dropped 105 oranges on the ground.
They
formed themselves into five rows of twenty one by themselves as
follows
…
You’d
say “Don’t be stupid! Pull the other leg … someone with an intelligent
mind
arranged them.”
TEST TWO :
1.
Do you know of any building that did not have a builder?
□ YES
□ NO
2.
Do you know of any painting that did not have a painter?
□ YES
□ NO
3.
Do you know of any car that did not have a maker?
□ YES
□ NO
If
you answered “YES” for any of the above, please give your details:

TEST THREE :
□
YES
□ NO
A.
From the atom to the universe, is there order?
□ NO
B. Did it happen by
accident or must there have been an intelligent
mind?
C.
What are the odds of
100 oranges falling by chance into five rows of twenty?
TEST FOUR :
The
statement “There is no God” is an absolute staement.
Now
to make that statement, you would have to have absolute
knowledge.
Here
is another absolute statement: “There is no gold in India.”
What do you need to
have for that statement to be true?
□
A. No
knowledge of
India
□
B. Partial knowledge of India
□
C. Absolute
knowledge
of India
“C” is the correct answer.
For
the statement to be true, I must know that there is no gold in India or
the
statement is incorrect.
Furthermore,
to say “There is no God”, and to be correct with that statement, you
must be all
knowing, that is, omniscient.
Is
there a God?
Let’s
suppose that a circle represents all the knowledge in the entire
universe, and
let’s suppose that you have an incredible 1% of that knowledge.
Is
it possible that in the knowledge you do not have, there is ample
evidence to
prove that God does indeed exist?
If
you are a reasonable person, you would have to say “With the knowledge
I have
at present, I believe there is no God.”
TEST FIVE :
The man who sees a building and doesn’t know if there was
a builder is :
□
A.
Intelligent
□
B. A fool
□
C. Has an
ulterior
motive
If
you answered C could it be that your love of sin is clouding
your good
judgment; or you, or a family member, have some bitterness
towards a
church you went to once; or could it be you tried God before but he
didn’t live
up to your expectations?
And
there are many more reasons as well.
TEST SIX :
God’s Ten Commandments
ask you these questions …
1. Have you always loved God … the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob … with all your heart, soul, mind and strength?
2. Have you
ever made a god to suit yourself … in
your own image?
3. Have you
ever used God’s name in vain?
4. Have you
always kept the Sabbath holy?
5. Have you
always honoured your parents?
6. Have I ever
hated or murdered anyone?
7. Have I ever
committed adultery … lusted in the
mind or had premarital sex?
8. Have I ever
stolen anything … even small items?
9. Have I ever
lied … white lies included or told
any fibs … like with these questions?
10. Have I ever
coveted and been greedy for things
The Bible
says that even breaking one law
means you are guilty of all, and God has placed a curse on you as
follows …
“… for it
is written, Cursed is every one
that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the
law to
do them.”
(Galatians 3:10)
Now as God
is pure and holy, he cannot let
you into heaven when you die, but cast you into the literal flames of
hell
where you will be tormented forever.
BUT …
“…God so
loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have
everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
This means
that “Christ hath redeemed us
from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us … “
(Galatians 3:13).
This means
that Jesus Christ fulfilled …
defeated … the works of the law on your behalf. Christ has lived the
perfect
life and shed his perfect blood to pay God the penalty for your sin.
This means
your ticket to heaven has been “PAID
IN FULL” with your name on it.
What
should you say to someone who has done
all this for you?
“Thank you
Jesus for dying for my sins. I
believe on you. Thank you for saving me!”
If you
have had this change of mind, and
believed this from your heart, you will be saved from God’s wrath of
hell.
So forget
all your arguments about the
existence of God … he exists … only he can save you.
