“WOKE THEOLOGY”
aka “The Big Lazy”
Dear
Reader, whenever you hear words and phrases like “formal equivalence”;
“dynamic
equivalence”; “the Greek says …”; “the originals”; “a better
translation would
be …” and so on, you can put your house on the fact that churches, and
the individuals
therein, that say these things, suffer from THEOLOGICAL WOKENESS (TW).
And
THEOLOGICAL WOKENESS (TW) inevitably leads to SPIRITUAL
WOKENESS (SW).
Now
TW and SW come from the ill-health of the INDIVIDUAL DOCTRINAL
BELIEFS (IDB)
… as outlined in the scriptures (2 Timothy 4:3), and indeed pastors,
elders and
churches, not being able to fight off the THEOLOGICAL WOKE VIRUS
(TWV).
So
starting with the sickness of the IDB (2 Timothy 4:3), the TWV
morphs
into the TW which leads to SW … the end result being THE
BIG
LAZY (TBL).
So
rather than putting up the safety fence at the top of the cliff … by BELIEVING
the King James Bible, the spiritually woke simply dial a theological
ambulance … and … anyone will do.
Q: And what ambulances
are these?
A:
Any Bible version …
except for the King James Bible … which by the way … is not a version …
as it
is the Bible … the holy Scriptures.
You
see Dear Reader, by the time we get to this stage, The Big
Lazy individual
has lost any capacity to study the Bible as in …
“Study
to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be
ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15 The King James
Bible).
“For
the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged
sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the
joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents
of the heart.”
(Hebrews 4:12 The King James Bible)
Look
Dear Reader, people pick up the King James Bible and start judging it …
but
they don’t realize that it’s doing the opposite … it’s judging them.
So
the brain sends a message to the heart …
“Hey
heart! This person doesn’t believe the King James!”
And
the heart says “I know! I will now activate the Theological Woke
Virus … to
start the Spiritual Wokeness … that will crank up The Big
Lazy
(TBL).
So
here you have it folks.
Apart
from unbelief of the King James Bible, the other two causes of SW,
are fear
of man and love of popularity … which go hand in
hand.
You
know, desiring to be popular, churches have a fear of being
rejected by
telling the unsaved they are sinners and headed for the fires
of hell.
“I
know” they say “let’s get the neighbourhood along to Carols by
Candlelight and
Bingo nights and Friendly Teas and Music Mornings for the Mums and
kiddies.
Of
course, right at the bottom of all this is the love of money
being the
cause of all evil … you know … less people come to church … less money
in the
plate … water down the gospel … don’t mention sin too much … and
certainly not
the fires of hell … maybe hades perhaps … you know … come as you are …
and look
you don’t have to change.
“We
love you, God loves you, and follow Jesus, and you’ll get to heaven.
To
wrap it up … The Big Lazy means that there is neither
the desire
or the energy to study to show being approved to God (2 Timothy 2:15).
Now
intertwined with The Big Lazy is the Big Ignorance
(BI) (Ephesians
4:18; ) and the Big Puffy (BP) (1 Corinthians 4:19).
Dear
Reader we could go on … but I think we’ve said enough.
“But
… but … but …” say the people suffering the The Big Lazy “the
above
explanation is terribly confusing?”
To
which we reply “Yes, you’re absolutely correct … it’s meant to
be that
way … and that’s what happens when you are critic of the King James
Bible …
it’s a giant pile-on of foul spirits and a cage of every hateful and
unclean
bird … a monstrous Gordian Knot that is almost impossible to unravel
(Revelation
18:2) … and all brought on by the angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).
