“SATAN’S 1^st HISTORY LECTURE TO
THE SUBJECTIVE CALVINIST” 

From the get-go, Adam’s response to God showed how he had become the wretched victim of his own personal experience … his subjectivism.

With a “Where art thou” (Genesis 3:9), God shows his concern for man.

In stark contrast between the character of God and the character of natural man … man’s only concern is for himself, as Adam responds with “ … I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10) … also called the “4 I Reply”

Adam’s reply clearly shows his own internal experience is the focus … not God.

One of the worst forms of subjectivism is religious subjectivism … rubber stamped with Calvinism’s internal sanctification prior to salvation.

Eastern religions are not the only ones that go “in and in and in and in and in” … with all false religions doing the same.

And it’s a fact, that instead of curing man’s sin problem, Calvinists make men prisoners within themselves many times more than before.

The end result being the massive state of confusion called the Arthur-Martha Syndrome … you know … “How Do I know I’ve Been Selected?”

Calvinism ... with it’s starting point of election outside of Christ … is the ultimate ME ME ME ME ME par excellence of religion.

Christianity, being an historical religion, is based on the concrete facts of history … that the death and resurrection of Christ, is not centered in the worshipper’s own experience.

And being factual history, it can be believed or rejected … being a free gift … and stated as such three times in Paul’s book of Romans (Romans 5:15,16,18)

The gospel message is an objective reality … and this statement of the gospel makes no reference to any religious experience … intrinsic or extrinsic.

Man’s sin problem is to back away from history and gravitate back to subjectivism.

With the study ability of a blind warthog, the Calvinist simply bats away the legal English of the Romans chapter 5 and verses 13 through 21.

And how does he do this?  

Simples … he grabs his ESV … along with his church’s constitution aka church’s tradition …  and armed with such phrases as “ … the originals …” and “… the Greek says …” … and with the bursting chest of a proud peacock … he emphatically asserts …

“That might be so, but I believe what I believe because I believe what I believe.”

“Oooops! Strike three … yer out … hello Adam!”
