“And he
brought him (Abraham)
forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell
the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So
shall thy
seed be. And he (Abraham) believed in the LORD; and
he counted
it to him for righteousness.” (Genesis 15:5-6)
And here’s
the question Dear Friend, how did Abraham get right standing
with the LORD JEHOVAH? Correct! He simply believed what the LORD
JEHOVAH told
him as the scriptures say
“And the
scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham
believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he
was
called the Friend of God.” (James 2:23)
Dear
Reader, would you please consider the following 2 prophecies from your
Old Testament about your Messiah to come. There are two questions
– 1.
Where he would appear? 2. Who would be his mother?
1. WHERE
WOULD HE ARRIVE? He comes
to land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali.
Isaiah 9:1-3
Nevertheless
the dimness shall not be such as was
in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of
Zebulun
and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her
by the
way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. The people
that
walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the
land of
the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Matthew
4:12-17
Now when Jesus
had heard that John was cast
into prison, he departed into Galilee; And leaving Nazareth, he came
and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of
Zabulon
and Nephthalim: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by
Esaias the
prophet, saying, The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim,
by the way
of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; The people which
sat in
darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and
shadow of
death light is sprung up.
2. WHO
WILL BE HIS MOTHER? She will
be
a virgin
Isaiah 7:10-11, 14
Moreover
the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in
the
height above. … Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a
sign;
Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his
name
Immanuel.
Matthew
1:20-23
But
while he thought on these things, behold, the
angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph,
thou
son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for
that which
is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth
a son,
and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from
their
sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was
spoken of
the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with
child, and
shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which
being
interpreted is, God with us.
SO BACK TO
ABRAHAM
…
Abraham believed God … and he was called the
Friend of God. (James 2:23)
Now
as Abraham is your father in the faith, and he
was called a Friend of God, you will want to imitate and be like
Abraham and
also be a Friend of God? Correct? Of course you do, I understand.
Allow me
to ask you the question -
“Will you
simply believe what the LORD is telling
you in the Old Testament about your Messiah that will come? From the two
Old Testament scriptures, honestly ask yourself “Has the Messiah come
already
or is he yet to come?” Dear Jewish Friend, I know you love the LORD and
you
pray to him for wisdom and guidance. Would it just be possible for you
right
now, to pray from your heart the following prayer?
“Dear
LORD, I want the truth. Has Israel’s Messiah
already come or is he yet to come?
I have
read the above two prophecies. Have they
been fulfilled in Jesus Christ?
If so, I
know he died for my sins and can save me.
I must
have the truth LORD. Please help me. Time is
running out and the world is getting darker. Please save me from your
wrath of
hell. I want to be saved. I must be saved. From the bottom of my heart,
please
save me! Amen”
