“ARE YOU AN
ESAU CHRISTIAN OR A JACOB CHRISTIAN?”
Dear
Reader, we all know the story of Esau and Jacob (Genesis 25:27-29,30-31,32-33,34).
And
here’s the thing, although they were both sons of Isaac, their father
loved
Esau being the first born … who would
get the inheritance chocolates
after his dad
died.
But
the problem was that Esau rejected and despised his
birthright
(Gen 25:34), which was then passed onto Jacob.
Now,
even though Esau gave up his inheritance, he still remained a son of
Isaac and although
not the birthright recipient, he was also blessed, as a son, with lesser
things like the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above
(Genesis 27:39).
(Wow!
Not my idea of 2nd prize)
But
the end result was that Esau ended up hating his
brother (Genesis 27:41) … and
sought to kill him (Genesis
27:41,42).
Isn’t
that always the way with fleshy hasty people?
It
was Esau’s choice to reject his birthright, but he hated his brother
Jacob, for
having it given to him.
Now
Dear Reader, you just might be saying to yourself …
“How
does all this apply to me as a Christian?”
Here’s
the thing, when you are saved, that is, born again into God’s family,
you are a
son of God.
And
yes, women are also called sons of God because of the hidden man of the
heart in
them (1Peter 3:4).
Now,
as a Christian God bestows upon you THE
birthright
… the most precious thing he can
give … his perfect, infallible, inerrant and inspired scriptures … the
King James Bible.
Now
you have a choice, just like
Esau … will I accept my inheritance …
the King James Bible … or will I reject it and choose something
physical that
man has produced … like the NIV, NASB, Good News, ESV, NLT or any other
of the
dozens and dozens of today’s corrupted
versions?
The
choice was, has, and always will be yours.
And
so just like in the Esau and Jacob story, the Esau flesh people, having
opted
for the pottage (Genesis 25:30), the blessings of the King James Bible
get
passed onto those that will accept and believe the King James Bible.
Now
Dear Reader, don’t get me wrong, as a believer of another version, will
you
still get blessings?
You
very well might! But I put it this way, second prize is not
first prize is it?
All
the corrupt versions can give you is fatness of the earth plus the dew
of
heaven? Yummy! Yummy!
Pleeeeaaaazzzze!
Give me a break. In reality, there is NO second prize
with Bible
choice.
You
see Dear Reader, your NIV, ESV, NLT etc are simply stones and
serpents … not bread and fish
(Luke 11:11).
Man
walks into a café. “Look at the time. I’m hungry. I think I’ll buy a
Fish
Burger. Mmmm! What’s this? I’ve been cheated … it tastes like stones
and
serpent to me.”
Furthermore,
as believer of a corrupted version, God will deliberately
keep hidden
from you, what these blessings are. that are ONLY contained in
the King
James Bible.
And
again, because your choice has been a corrupted version, that is,
despising
your birthright of the King James Bible, you, as a 2nd prize
place
getter, will have a form
of hatred toward King James Bible
believers.
But
here’s the shame of it all, this being your choice, God will foist upon
you an evil heart of
unbelief (Hebrews 3:12) … whether you like it or not.
And
furthermore, like Esau, God will give you a form of hatred toward the
King James
Bible, and its believers, in that you will despise, pooh-pooh and laugh
at them
both.
Why?
Because you feel
superior having eagerly gobbled
up the pottage of
the NIV, ESV, NLT etc etc (Genesis
25:34).
But
here’s the marvelous
forgiveness
of God.
If
at any time, you being a fornicator, or profane person in
rejecting the King James Bible, and
choosing Rome’s corrupted publications of the ESV, NLT, NIV etc etc,
God is
most willing to receive you back onto the podium where you will be
given 1st
prize.
Why?
For your rejecting the profanity and fornication with the afore
mentioned
corrupted versions … and believing in
and on, the King James Bible … you will thereby be returned as the
Number 1 son,
with the King James Bible in your hand.
God will
always give you all a second chance to reclaim your birthright.
Dear
Reader, don’t be an
Esau Christian.
And
in conclusion, let me rephrase the following scripture …
“Lest there be
any fornicator, or profane person,
as Esau, who for one morsel of meat … the ESV, NLT, NIV … sold
his
birthright of the King James Bible.” (Hebrews 12:16 adapted)
