Q1: IS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS

THE SAME AS PAUL’S GOSPEL?

A1: “NO … THESE ARE FROM TWO DIFFERENT DISPENSATIONS

Q2: “WERE THOSE OF MATTHEW 7:22-23 CHRISTIANS?”

A2: “NO”

Regarding Question 1, people get all upset … simply because of their ignorance of the English language.

Let’s compare four statements … two from Jesus and two from Paul … as follows …

Jesus said “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” (John 6:47)

Jesus said “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24)

Paul says Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved …” (Acts 16:31)

Paul says “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” (Ephesians 1:13)

You will notice that Jesus uses verbs ending in “-eth” … such as believeth and heareth resulting in everlasting life.

In other words, when Christ was on earth, you had to continuously keep on believing and hearing Jesus’ words … with no let up … but this would not give you immediate eternal life but only everlasting life as Jesus had yet to die.

Upon death the person who had believeth on Jesus would go to Abraham’s bosom to await being taken to heaven and eternal life.

This explains when some stopped believeth-ing in Jesus, they walked away, and if not eventually repented from, they went to  (John 6:66)666

Q2: Were those of Matthew 7:22-23 Christians?

A2: “No”

Why? Christ had not yet died … therefore they could not be directly saved into Christ’s death being the kingdom of God.

Furthermore, in Christ’s kingdom of heaven on earth dispensation, the Matthew 7:22-23 people were trusting in their own works … seeking to be justified by their works … and not Christ’s works.

In other words, Christ was not going to give them a big tick … in fact the opposite … they were destined for perdition … the road of ruin leading to hell.

Dear Reader, the above teaching article is to be studied along with the article titled

Q: How can believing the doctrine of Christ send you to hell?

A: Because it’s not the gospel of Christ

Such is the precision of the God’s choice of words as found in the King James Bible, that the words “Christ” and “Jesus” and “gospel” and “doctrine” … and the combination thereof … all mean different things.

Truly Dear Reader,

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2)

It’s called study …

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

PS The above cannot be gotten from the versions in ten trillion years.
