Reader, our latest ‘entertainment’ … that is buffoonery … silly
and absurd behaviour amusing others … from the Bible Critics in
the
Peanut Gallery … is the following …
“The word
‘God’ should not be in the phrase ‘God forbid’ as the
word ‘God’
is not in the NT Greek … me
genoito”
It is to be noted that nine
times in
the OT, the phrase ‘God forbid’ occurs … thereby showing it is a commonly
used
phrase in the Bible.
Now Dear
Reader, as we have stated before, we do not mind how much or how little
a
person knows, but it’s their attitude to learning more.
As the
saying goes, Bible Critics have minds like steel traps … rusted and
permanently
closed.
Shock! Horror! Gasp!
Wheeze! Let’s
throw out our King James Bibles!
These Greek geniuses, or
genii,
endorse the versions that change ‘Easter’
to ‘Passover’ (Acts
12:4) and
‘Jesus’
to ‘Joshua’ (Hebrews
4:8) … and would have us believe and trust them.
Never mind ‘Strike Three
yer’ out’ …
in their case … because they are so arrogantly ‘intelligent’ … we knock
it down
to two … “Strike Two yer’ out!”
Yes Dear Reader, with the
knowledge of
a squashed gnat, these fraudsters would replace the
word “God”
in the
phrase of “God forbid” with the following …
… “may it never be” (NASB);
“by no
means” (NIV); “certainly not” (NKJV); “absolutely
not” (CSB); “of
course not”
(NLT); “far from it” (NASB20); “surely not” and “by no means” (ESV) …
and
so
on.
Imagine that … Peanut
Gallery Bible Critics
would wrongly take away God’s specific injunction of
forbiddance and
replace it with their own watered-down nothings.
But Dear Reader, it is a
fact … that
the word “God”, as written in the Greek as “me genoito”, is
omitted fifteen times from the phrase “God forbid” in Luk 20:16,
Rom 3:4, Rom 3:6, Rom 3:31,
Rom
7:7, Rom 7:13,
1Co
6:15,
Mmmm! Now let me think … as
we quote
Professor Julius Sumner Miller’s famous phrase of “Why is this so?”
Did God slip up?
Did Jesus just
get a bit sleepy and not put this in his word? Were
the 1611
Translators
not up to the task?
As stated, the phrase “God
forbid”
occurs frequently in the OT and is used in the context of stealing and
rebelling and so on … and follows a question being asked or a presented
dilemma
(Genesis 44:7 and so on)
… and similarly in the New Testament
Q: “So are the Bible Critics
wrong?”
A: “Without question.
But the real crime of these
‘all over
the shop’, mish-mash of hybrid Bible Critics with their infertile
hybrid
versions … in that purporting to know the scriptures, they err not
knowing
the God of the scriptures.”
Let’s take the following
example …
when Paul asks the question “Hath God cast away his people?”
(Romans
11:1), what better way than to ask God to answer this himself …
with
his answer
… “I (God) forbid it!”
Without the word “God”, we
simply have
the unstable wishes of men … like “hopefully it might not be
so” and
“let’s cross our fingers” or the above …
“may it never be” (NASB);
“by no
means” (NIV); “certainly not” (NKJV); “absolutely not” (CSB); “of
course not”
(NLT); “far from it” (NASB20); “surely not” and “by no means” (ESV) …
and so
on.
Now the Bible tells us … it
is 100%
certain that God
is coming back to rescue Israel in the Tribulation
… and at
the battle of Armageddon.
But the Bible Critics … not
understanding the dispensations ... would take a survey of
men to get
their
pathetic … and weak as water … forbiddances.
This is another form of Replacement
Theology that substitutes man’s expressions for God’s words
regarding
Israel.
You know … “Can we be
really sure that
God is coming back to rescue Israel?”
In essence …GOD FORBIDS
IT … BUT BIBLE
CRITICS ARE NOT SO SURE … crossing their fingers … hopefully it
might be so
… and all the other expressions given above.
This is why the 1611 Bible
Translators
have included the word “God” in “God forbid” … even though it
wasn’t in the
Greek!
Furthermore, adding insult to their
deadly injury,
the Peanut Gallery of Bible Correctors have as much of an idea about
the translating
of Greek to the English … as a three year old cross-eyed Eskimo.
As has been stated many
times before …
translation from the Greek is NOT a Cut and Paste
exercise …
never has been … and never will be.
For example Dear Reader,
these are the
same crowd that would deny the hundreds of King James Bible italics
…
such as … the “he” in “I am he” (John 8:24, 28).
In brief, in John’s gospel,
Jesus says
five times that he is “the light”; “not alone”; “bears witness”; “from
above”;
“not of this world” (John
8:12, 16, 18, 23) … but not designating
himself
specifically as the “he” (John 8:24, 28).
So we have examples, for
God to leave
out his specific designation of “he” and “God” in
the
Greek Text.
Surely this must show that
our tormentedly
bamfoozled ‘Cut-and-Paste’ translation kiddies … are using translation
techniques that are not God’s techniques.
CONCLUSION:
In attempting to reason
their way,
with their own human wisdom, through their own self-made translation
darkness,
God allows King James Bible Kiddie Correctors to light … and then walk,
in
their own translation sparks … to be consumed in their own Greek fires
… but to
their own regret and misery.
As the Bible states …
“Behold, all ye that kindle
a fire,
that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of
your
fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of
mine hand;
ye shall lie down in sorrow.” (Isaiah 50:11)
Without understanding that
Greek Bible
translation does not rely entirely on written words, the Kiddie
Correctors
build fires of their own kindling … and here’s their shame … God lets
these
people walk in the light of their own sparks … but their end
will
be sorrow.
Dressed in emperors
clothes, puffed up
Bible Correctors, parade naked before the Lord in all their glory …
pridefully
showing that they know more than God … and the 1611 Translators who
produced the
perfect, inerrant, inspired and infallible 1611 King James Bible.
In disbelief, one simply
shakes one’s
head.
Wrapping up Dear Reader,
how about a
little English Bible Numerics?
The number of times “God”
is omitted from
“God forbid” in the NT is 15.
Now 15 = 3 x 5 =
triple (Godhead
#3) x death (#5).
You know Dear Reader, when
we read the
Bible, let us not heap to ourselves a triple death from God himself
… by
discounting his words.
In seeking to correct the
King James
Bible, the Peanut Gallery of Bible Correctors are simply saying … that
God
should have waited till the 21st century to produce his
inerrant
scriptures, by elevating
them to join the fifty four 1611 Translators!
But we are eternally
grateful he
didn’t!
