“HOW CAN THE KING JAMES BIBLE
BE RIGHT EVERY TIME?”

Dear Reader, it’s a funny thing, that if you will not believe the King James, God blinds you with a zeal … but not according to righteousness … you know … a spiritual parallel to the following verse given for Israel …

“For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.” (Romans 10:2).

In common parlance “Zeal is a blind conductor of the will.”

That is, once you have made up your mind … despite the evidence of opposing truth … zeal then takes over … and all manner of confusion, evil and unrighteousness takes over.

There comes an eagerness to subvert with little care what might be established.

For example, we take the following scripture …

“For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.”
(Hebrews 4:8)

Now, in all haste and folly, every scripture twister substitutes the word “Joshua” for “Jesus”.

WHY?

Unbelief can mask a variety of motives … money, reputation, love of man’s praise and so on as in these last days, Christians will not endure sound doctrine (2 Timothy 4:3).

Blinded by their own self-importance, Bible Correctors sit in judgment on God’s words.

Now we’ve all heard the word “ASSUME” explained as follows … “When you assume something, you make an ASS OUT OF YOU AND ME … ASS-U-ME … get it?

So all versions and commentators assume, that this verse, refers to Israel being led into the land of Canaan by Joshua.

Oooops! Those poor ol’ 1611 Translators” the Puffed Up Rice Bubbles say “after all, they didn’t have electric lights, and modern technology, and had to do it all by candlelight. Joshua? Jesus? We can forgive them as they both have the same root Greek construction.”

Dear Reader, this is just one example of where God will do a ‘Red Herring’ on the Puffed Up Person (PUP) … that’s right … little pups.

This verse has NOTHING TO DO WHATSOEVER with Israel entering Canaan … Israel’s promised land.

On the surface, no-one can dispute the fact that it was Joshua that led Israel into Canaan.

But this verse speaks of another.

For starters, Jesus followed them into Canaan … how do we know this?

The King James says “… that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.” (1 Corinthians 10:4).

Christ did not lead anyone into Canaan! It was Joshua! Correct.

This verse simply addresses Israel’s EVIL HEART of UNBELIEF in their desert PROVOCATION (Hebrews 3:8, 12, 15) of NOT BELIEVING God and his promise of REST Hebrews 4:1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 11) with their opposition of lusting, idolatry, formication, tempting and fornication
(1 Corinthians 10:6-9,10)
.

It was Jesus NOT JOSHUA that speaks of a rest in himself … Jesus … that if they will believe on him, they can enter the rest of the kingdom of God via the kingdom of heaven and Abraham’s bosom (Luke 16:22).

Christ gives his John 3:16 verse … that those who believeth in him will not perish … and it was this believing that would give Israel the rest they needed.

And what was this ‘ANOTHER DAY’? (Hebrews 4:8)

Abraham saw it as “MY (Christ’s) DAY” with …

“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see MY (Jesus) DAY: and he saw it, and was glad.” (John 8:56).

Abraham did NOT see Christ on the cross … but ‘another day’ when Abraham “saw” Christ’s “day”, in that he looked forward to the resurrection of Abraham’s own son after he was going to slay him (Genesis 22:5).

Firstly, Abraham believed in perfect obedience to God’s orders even though it would involve the death of his son
(1 John 4:10).

Secondly, Abraham believed that his own son would allow him to do the killing (Genesis 22:9).

Thirdly, Abraham believed God would resurrect the boy.

Abraham did not see Christ on the cross, but experienced a type … a shadow … of the death and resurrection of Christ … he saw the day of Christ being performed in front of him with his own son.

This is the “ANOTHER DAY” of Hebrews 4:8the day of rest promised to Israel when they rejected Christ in the flesh … the day that Abraham saw.

The theme of the Book of Hebrews is exactly this day of rest … Israel’s eternal security of salvation, that can only be had by having Jesus as the Saviour and not just their Messiah.

Furthermore …

If this was the case … “For if Joshua had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.” (Hebrews 4:8) ...

Then where in the scriptures did Joshua promise Israel another day of rest?

He didn’t !!!
