Dear Reader, the FOGASS is a person who becomes an ASS by succumbing to the FOG.

The best way to describe this is to imagine yourself on a ship, upon which a dense fog has descended … and the radar is down. … “What’ll we do? … where do we go? … let’s try this? … oooops! that didn’t work … let’s go back? … we’re lost! … and so on.

The definition for a FOGASS is to be found in the Australian Colloquial Version as follows …

“Professing themselves wise they became FOGASSES” (Romans 1:22 ACV).

Gasp! Shock! Horror! Wheeze! … fools!

In a nutshell, they Add, Subtract, Substitute sprouting Formal Equivalence, the Originals, the Greek.

Now because these FOGASSES have rocketed passed the point of reason … with ignorance being their most prized possession … they turn God’s final written inerrant and infallible authority, the King James Bible, into a lie … and as the scriptures state …

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” (2 Thessalonians 2:11)

And the explanation is quite simple as follows:

Under the burden of their PRIDE … Mmmm! Let’s guess who he is? (2 Corinthians 11:14; Job 41:15; 41:34), and not acting like Hezekiah to avoid the wrath of God (2 Chronicles 32:26), the King James Bible immediately discerns the thoughts and intents of their hearts (Hebrews 4:12) … OUCH!!

Yes, they have judged the Bible and now the Bible will judge them.

God then sets in train strong delusion … and wait for it … this is when the FOG that descends upon them.

Mimicking headless chooks, they then proceed to slash and burn the English text of the King James Bible by Adding, Subtracting and Substituting words and phrases.

As stated, being impervious to facts and reason, pantechnicons (truckloads) of information only increase their resistance.

Hence, the following, are simply stop gaps for a Bible Believer, to momentarily put the FOGASS back on his heels.

Here we go:

Question: “If a person is Greek, doesn’t it makes sense that he would have a much better understanding of the Greek New Testament and so be able to correct the English of the King James Bible?”

Answer: No. The modern language of Greece today is chalk and cheese to that found in the New Testament. So great is the difference, that they are not interchangeable.

Question: “Who were Westcott and Hort?” …

Answer: They were two unsaved King James Bible hating critics … promoting the corrupt manuscripts of Vaticanus and Sinaiticus … upon which rest all ‘bible’ versions (NIV, NASB, NKJV, Legacy and so on) … and are now ‘resting comfortably’ in their beloved Hades … you see … they didn’t believe in the everlasting and actual physical fires of hell.

Question: “Do you blame Satan for the fighting and arguing over the Bible versions?”

Answer: “Who else? But people with pride love it so. The ‘originals’ are the smoke and mirrors of non-existent, unobtainable, mystical entities which all apostates shield their unbelief behind.

Question: “But I find my NIV, NASB, NKJV, Legacy easier to read?”

Answer: “You very well might, but they are harder to study and understand. We are not told to read the Bible but to study it … and the King James Bible is the only one that says so.

Question: “I hear that more manuscripts have been found since 1611. Wouldn’t they help to get a better translation?”

Answer: No. No NEW READINGS have been found that add any new information.

Question: “Can’t I trust my NIV?”

Answer: No. Based on Origen’s Alexandrian (Egyptian) corrupt manuscripts, Nestle, in 1979, published his 26^th edition of the Greek text, from which all the new versions emerged from. The NASB similarly has been based on Nestle’s 23^rd edition of 1969. Bad Roots Bad Fruits!

Question: “Well what about the New Scofield Bible? Isn’t that a King James Bible?”

Answer: “First of all, it’s not a Scofield Bible as Dr. C.I. Scofield had nothing to do with it … he died forty five years earlier. Secondly, it is not a King James Bible. Just some people trying to make some money. Just like the New King James Bible … it’s not a King James Bible … it is a complete new version.”

Question: “But isn’t the New King James Version better than the King James Bible?”

Answer: “No. FOGASS-ing the perfect text is a disastrous corruption.

Question: “But I don’t like the “thee’s” and the “thou’s” in the King James.”

Answer: “Look I don’t mean to offend you, but were you looking out the window in English grammar class at school? Words starting with “t” are singular and words starting with “y” are plural like “ye”, “you”, “your”. Please do some study. Stop whining and whinging.”
