REPENTANCE
What we mean by this is that
repentance is not being willing to give up some of your sins or all of your
sins in order to be self-righteous enough to be saved.
True biblical repentance is a change of mind by turning from one thing to the other, it goes like this, you once didn't think there was a God, then you change your mind and now you know there is a God, you didn't think you were a sinner, and you may have also thought at the same time that if you were a sinner your good works or some other religious activity would cause you not to be a sinner any more, but now you have changed your mind in that you now believe that not only are you a sinner, but that Jesus Christ has paid for all your sins.
