Rolls Royce

QUESTION: “WHO DOES GOD THINK HE IS … ‘RESTRICTING’ US CHRISTIANS TO THE KING JAMES BIBLE”

I like the story of the man who had bought a Rolls Royce but he couldn’t get it started … and he wrote to the Rolls Royce people stating this fact.

Upon several letters going back and forth, they found out the man, as soon as he had purchased his Rolls Royce, changed to Toyota spark plugs, installed the carburettor from his second-hand VW, along with the timing belt from his wife’s 2009 Mazda. Not only that, he was consulting an out-of-date Mini Minor Manual from the 1960’s to fix the Roller.

Now of course, this man had decided to wilfully ignore their advice stating in a letter to them that “Rolls Royce parts cost too much!”.

It’s a bit like the Christian life …
You see, the Rolls Royce people don’t demand, and or indeed command, we use their genuine Rolls Royce parts, but highly commend their use. Dear Reader, what do you reckon … the manufacturer knows best?

As the scripture says But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

And if you are saved, God commendeth his love in the form of the King James Bible … but he won’t twist your arm.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS THIS …
God made us and knows how we work. If we decide to disobey his instructions, and use inferior car parts we don’t stand a chance do we. You may as well take the Rolls Royce that ‘doesn’t seem to work’ and crush it in the scrap yard.
