Q: “DEAR
SDA, CAN THE LAW BE SEPARATED FROM THE TEN COMMANDMENTS?”
Dear
SDA, carefully study the following two diagrams that show the law and
the Ten Commandments are inseparable and for a time only.
Paul’s
message to the SDA … “Knock yourself out doing Saturday … but you’re kicking
sand in the face of Jesus! He fulfilled the law and the Ten Commandments
perfectly on your behalf.”
SDA’s
simply say … “Jesus didn’t do a good enough job … we want to add our
righteousness to Christ’s.”
Paul
simply says to the SDA …“Do what you like … do any day of the week … but it
simply shows that you are weak in the faith … that is if you are
saved at all (Galatians 3; Romans 14).”
Adding
to the above, the following scriptures and diagram, show the inseparability
of Ten Commandments and the law:
36 “Master,
which is the great commandment IN the law (the
book of the law of Moses Joshua 8:31)?
37 Jesus
said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with
all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This
is the first and great commandment.
39 And
the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On
these two commandments HANG all the law and the prophets.”
(Matthew
22:36-39,40)
The following diagram shows the
law and ten commandments being synonymous
In
other words, in this present day Pauline dispensation of grace without works,
the SDA is treating with contempt, the free gift of eternal security offered by
God in, by and through, the perfect sinless life of the Lord Jesus Christ … and
his shed blood.
Conclusion:
IN the
law are the ten commandments and ON the commandments HANG the
law.
