… and Dear Reader, the list goes on and on and on and
on ….. in a word … any publication of any Bible or Version that
man has
produced other than the King James Bible.
And where’s the sticking point?
ACTS 12:4 … you know … WHERE ‘EASTER’ HAS BEEN CHANGED TO
‘PASSOVER’.
“And
when he (Herod)
had apprehended him (Peter), he put him
in prison, and delivered him (Peter) to four quaternions of
soldiers to
keep him (Peter); intending after EASTER to bring him (Peter)
forth to the people.” (Acts 12:4 King James Bible)
A GIGANTIC
OVERSIGHT OF MASSIVE PROPORTIONS?
Appearing
29 times in the New Testament, the Greek
word “pascha”, is translated 28 times as “passover”,
and once
as “Easter” (Acts 12:4).
One
time out of 29 times!
The
word “Easter” only occurs once in the entire
Bible!
Did
this word just slip
through the net?
These
learned 1611
Translators were such superior scholars, that they ate Greek and Hebrew
and
Latin for breakfast!
Some
had learnt Greek by the
time they were aged five!
One
wrote a Persian
Dictionary for the Persians in their mother tongue!
Lancelot
Andrews, it is
said, would have been God’s perfect choice at the Tower of Babel … he
knew that
many languages.
Many
were Professors to
those Professors that taught Greek at the Universities!
Are
you telling me that all
the godly men of the Empire were just permanently stoned or comatose
drunk for
seven years, nay, two or three hundred years before that, that they
couldn’t
see this ‘one time’ thing, that the word “pascha” was to be translated
as
“Easter”?
Give
me a break! The study
of Greek and Hebrew was never higher in history than at that time.
Modern
Doctors, Theologians, Professors and translators today are like a 1st
year Greek student with a lexicon under his arm, compared to the 1611
Translators.
In
the last half of the 1300’s, some 250
hundred years before the 1611 Authorized Bible, John
Trevisa, published an English edition of the entire
Bible.
Every
man in the British Empire was poring over the Bible for hundreds of
years prior
to the 1611 King James Bible.
PASSOVER HAD ALREADY COME
AND GONE
Herod was waiting until
after the
upcoming Easter to bring out Peter, to separate the pagan
Easter from
the Jewish Passover. How do we know this?
The Passover had
already been
completed. They were in the days of unleavened bread, and Easter
was yet to
occur. The following diagram might help:
“In
the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’S passover.”
(Leviticus 23:5)
As
the verse says in the
King James Bible, they were in the days of unleavened bread
which were
from the 14th – 21st days. The following
scripture
supports this:
“In the
first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye
shall eat unleavened
bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at
even.”
(Exodus 12:18)
So we can
see from the above evidence, if Herod was intending to bring out Peter
after
the Passover, he would have to wait for the next year – being another
360 days.
So as not to
diminish and take away from Rome’s godless Easter holidays, Herod would
let
them have their religious celebration of the Passover, so that all the
attention could then be directed to Herod with his Roman Easter, and
his public
humiliation of Peter.
