“THE
FOUR FALSE DOCTORS”
Dear
Reader, when you get
sick you don’t want to go to a dodgy doctor … do you?
You
want to be told the
truth … right?
You
don’t want to be lied to
… do you?
You
don’t want to find out
that you didn’t have an infection … and then nearly die … do you?
You
want a proper remedy … don’t you?
OK
then … here’s your terminal condition … you were born a sinner.
Behold, I
was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my
mother conceive me. Psalm 51:5
Furthermore,
you are a sinner, you will be judged a sinner and you will be condemned
a sinner, and “…whosoever
shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty
of all. James 2:10
Now if you
went to God and asked him “Dear God, how
can I get into heaven?”
Would he
reply with any of the following?
1. “Well
my
child, keep the Law!”
2. “Fasting
… that’s the solution!”
3. “Religion
will get you into heaven!”
4. “Consulting
the philosophers of the world will see you in heaven!”
If
he did, you could reply with his own scriptures about law,
fasting,
religion and philosophy.
“But
God your scriptures say this about Dr Law”
“For the
law made nothing perfect, but the bringing
in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.” (Hebrews
7:19)
“But
God your scriptures say this about Dr Fasting”
“Which
things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will
worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any
honour to the
satisfying of the flesh.” (Colossians 2:23)
“But
God your scriptures say this about Dr Religion”
“Pure
religion
and undefiled before God and the Father is this,
To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep
himself unspotted from the world.” (James 1:27)
…
and
as you know … the above says pure religion is still works
(Ephesians
2:8-9)
“But
God your scriptures say this about Dr Philosophy”
Beware
lest any man spoil you through philosophy
and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments
of the world, and not after Christ. (Colossians 2:8)
Now
Dear Reader, there is many a false Dr Jesus out there as well.
You
want the true Dr Jesus
who says … “If
you want rolled gold guarantee of getting into
heaven ... you must have the SPIRITUAL CIRCUMCISION that cuts away
the sins
of your flesh! You must have your soul separated from your flesh!”
You
want the true Dr Jesus
who says the following
“In whom
also ye are circumcised with THE
CIRCUMCISION MADE WITHOUT HANDS, in putting off the body of the
sins of the
flesh by the circumcision of Christ:” (Colossians 2:11)
