For most people, they believe heaven is pie
in the sky when you die.
For most people, they believe hell is just a
swear word.
For most people, they believe if there is a
heaven, and God being all loving, he will let 99% of people into heaven.
For most people, they can name worse sinners
than themselves, which means they’re not going to hell.
For most people, if there is a heaven and a
hell, they’ll sort it out when they get there.
For most people, they believe hell won’t be
as bad as the Bible says.
For most people, they believe that religion
uses the fear of hell to make people give money to the church.
For most people, they believe that God looks
at their heart and not their sins.
For most people, they believe God rewards their
best intentions.
For most people, they believe they’ll have a
good time in hell with their mates.
For most people, they believe that God
wouldn’t be so cruel to send people to burn in flames forever.
For most people, they believe that if there
is a hell of burning flames, it will only be for a short time to purge out their
sins.
For most people, heaven and hell is about
crossing their fingers and hoping for the best.
For most people, they believe the Bible is an
ancient book written for other times.
For most people, they believe there are many
ways to get to heaven.
For most people, they believe that God will
let them into heaven even if they don’t make the grade.
For most people, they believe that God is
like the government, who will give them a handout till they can get back on
their feet.
For most people, they think we are all God’s
children.
For most people, they think that Jesus came
to show us how to live, be kind and forgive everyone.
For most people, they believe that human love
will conquer anything.
For most people, they believe that Satan is
in control of the weather.
For most people, if they’ve ‘messed up’, they
will throw themselves on God’s mercy when they die.
Most people believe that Jesus accepts
everyone as they are and they don’t need to change … so great is the love of
Jesus.
For most people, they believe that before
they die, they will confess their sins to God and he will accept them into
heaven.

People will just believe what they want to
believe … because they believe it!
ANYTHING BUT the truth about God,
heaven, hell, Satan, judgment, God’s ten commandments, sin, the Bible and so
on.
And where do they get all their beliefs from?
… their own mind, the government, their
neighbours, schools, the newspapers, politics, the TV, digital and social
media, their churches, their pastors, science, medicine, psychology, religion,
mum and dad, books, friends, universities, education, university …
… anywhere and everywhere except The King
James Bible.
