“WHERE
IS THE RAPTURE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT?” (Part 2 of 2)
QUESTION:
“Dear ABM, I can’t find the word “rapture” in the New Testament. What
am I
missing? Where is it?”
EXPLANATION:
The over-riding
consideration is that Paul, and
others, are writing to Christians. What interests us as
Christians most at the moment? Correct! The rapture! The Lord’s 2nd
coming at the end of the seven year tribulation, with his saints, is of
‘minor’
interest, if you will.
1. Who is writing – mainly it
is Paul along with Peter, James and John.
2. To
whom is he
writing – to
Christians, Timothy, Titus
3. What is the context
4. What is he writing about.
5. Having an accurate
knowledge of the dispensations
