“What!!! Are you serious?”
“Of course … think about it.”
“But … but … but … it goes against current thinking …
doesn’t it?”
“Of course … critics of the present day King James
perfect Bible, suffer from a condition called Red Herring Thinking
(RHT)
… to be explained later.’”
“What? Why?”
“So they can change it when and where they like. In
fact, it’s probably a lay down misere (a certainty) that the
originals were
not correctly translated!”
“What!!! Why?”
“So God can get all the glory … God begins with
a perfect ‘product’ … and then improves on it over time.”
“You’re talking gobbledygook! Give me an example.”
“First off, there’s the creation over six days … first
off, it’s without form and void but perfect … and God adds, and adds,
and adds to
it every day … day one is perfect, day two is perfect, day three is
perfect and
so on.
Second, under the old testament, God reveals
himself as JEHOVAH; when Christ shows up in earth, this is an improvement
for Israel, and indeed the world, as they could see God in the flesh …
although
only having temporary salvation; but now, all may have
assurance of eternal
life (1 John 5:13) … see it just got better and better!”
Here’s another example … Moses gets to the Red Sea …
one giant disaster! … and the list goes on and on … man in a mess,
so that
God can step in and clear it up!”
“You’ve lost me!”
“Let’s put two and two together … IT’S TO GOD’S
GLORY THAT THE ORIGINALS WERE NOT TRANSLATED CORRECTLY! MAN … despite
his best
of intentions … STUFFS UP WRITING THE THING DOWN … FUMBLES THE
TRANSLATIONS …
THAT’S WHO MAN IS!”

“When holy men of God spake, it was not of their will
… WHAT WAS SPOKEN WAS
PERFECT BY GOD’S WILL (1 Peter 1:21) … what got writtten down PROBABLY
WASN’T … put it this way … would it matter if it wasn’t … NOT A
BIT!!!
Nowhere in the Bible does it say what got written down in the
first place was
perfect, and neither were any of the translations correct.
That’s the whole point … that we have ended up with a perfect
Bible today, gives God all the glory … not man with having
written it
down and correctly translated … because obviously he didn’t.
Down through the ages the scriptures would have been
mistranslated
dozens/ hundreds/ thousands? of times … mistakes would have been made
with all
the different languages and so on.
But let’s just suppose the originals were translated
correctly, but then after that … through hundreds of successive hands
and
translations, there would have been hundreds, if not thousands of
mistakes made
… and this is what the 1611 Translators found.
They finally got the Greek TR together, but then had
to correct it in 1,000 places!”
They never set out to write a new Bible … it was
already written as a gemstone. As the 1611 men said “We have simply
polished
the gemstone to make it shine more brightly.”
The 1611 ‘Translators’ were more collators and
compilers than anything else … like the pieces of a scattered jigsaw.
The Bible
was already in existence for 1500 years.
All that was required was to produce a Bible that
could not be justly criticized … which they did.
The 1611 Translators simply vacuumed up … world-wide …
hundreds of Bibles in the various languages, all the manuscripts,
verses,
lectionaries, Bible notes and so on, from the previous 1500 years … and
with
their impeccable knowledge of the original languages … it is to
God’s
glory, he produced the perfect, infallible and inerrant English
King James
Bible … not man correctly translating “the originals” … which
no-one has
ever seen.
The 1611 King James men simply composed a Greek TR and
then corrected it in 1,000 places.
To think otherwise, immediately exposes who you are …
a person with RHT!”
Dear Reader … “the originals” argument is a mere
fabrication … a lie … a furphy
… something to draw men away from the truth … a red herring …
to mislead
us away from having the assurance of a perfect and inerrant Bible in
our hands
today.
Note:
The term red herring comes from a fisherman
pulling in, what he thought, was a red herring, because it had red
scales.
A true red herring has no red scales but the
colour of grey scales … but it has internal red flesh.
To the ignorant, a false red herring has red scales …
“Oh!” the fisherman says “here’s a red herring … look
… it’s red!” No it’s not.
And so, “the originals as having been correctly
translated” argument has people being deceived into thinking they have
a real
red herring … which of course they haven’t.
The RHT’s have performed a fishy switcheroo.
Their motto? “Let’s kill this thing off at the birth …
by pretending we once had a perfect Bible at the beginning … but
not now!”
Be encouraged you King James Bible believers … you
have the real Red Herring Bible … the one with the red flesh inside.
As the 1611 Bible compilers said “We have come learned
… not to learn”
and
“We weary the unlearned as they do not need to know
much, and we trouble the learned as they think they know it already”.
and
“The
Greek
being not altogether clear, with the Latin derived from it, it must
need be
muddy.”
What holy men of God spake was perfect … what came
after is men dong their ‘best’ writing it down and translating … and
out of this
‘mixed’ soup, God produces his perfection in the King James Bible … to
God
be the glory the great thing he has done (Methodist Hymn Book Hymn,
Number
313)
“But weren’t the 1611 Translators translators?”
“Correct! That’s the whole point!
They were of different denominations, free-wills
and otherwise, most drank liquor, one was a functioning
drunk …
and so on. From sinful men, with varying qualities,
with various
papers and Bibles … the perfection was produced!”
By the very perfect nature of God and the sinful
nature of man … the written originals MUST have been translated
and
copied incorrectly.
The originals? … yeh right! … the RHT’s are the
original dills!
