Question: “DO CALVINISTS
UNDERSTAND THAT DIFFERENT WORDS HAVE DIFFERENT MEANINGS”?”
Answer: “I firmly believe they
don’t!”
Now Dear Reader, the case in point is this … “What is
the difference between a servant and a slave?
Now If I’m correct, the common understanding is that a
servant has a free will to leave his employment, but a slave
does not.
Now, suppose a servant in a certain household
hears of a better job at another house, he can say to his employer “I
now have
a better job and I will be leaving you.”
Employer: “Oh! That’s a shame but I cannot stop you … but
you are free to go.”
However, if the person is a slave … he cannot
say “Boss, I am going to another house because it will be better there
for me.”
Boss: “No your not … you’re my slave … you
do not have free will! The only way that can happen if this other
householder comes and overpowers me, burns my house and forcibly
removes you!”
This is also backed up with definitions from any
Dictionary … as follows …
Definition of a servant: “Servants can leave when
they want of their
own free will.”
Definition of a slave: “Slaves are prisoners to
their owners … they
have no free will.”
Here’s the thing:
In the Bible … and there is only one … the rest
are versions … in Romans chapter six, we have the word “servant”
mentioned eight times (Romans 6:16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22)
In the New King James Version … and get this
dear Reader … it’s not just a version of the King James, but a complete
new
translation … the word “servant” has been replaced
with “slave”.
What’s that all about?
The King James Bible says that the unsaved …
those in the kingdom of darkness have a free will … they are WILLING
servants
to sin … they can leave their body of death anytime they want … they
are NOT
totally depraved as the Calvinist would have us believe.
That is, they have a perfect choice that they can make
… they do not have to wait to see if God has selected
them to be
saved … that’s correct … it’s not elected them.
However, the NEW (What!) King James Version …
being another totally different Bible … would have the unsaved without
free
will … in bondage … until God overpowers Satan to set them free.
But hasn’t God done that already?
Hasn’t Satan been defeated at the cross? Correct … man
now has a free will.
Dear Reader, anyone that can read and understand word
meanings, can see that servants and slaves are like chalk and cheese.
But there’s the thing with Calvinists …
If they will not … because they can’t … they’ve been
blinded by God himself … this time God will not let them see
the
difference between servant and slave.
God sends them for a holiday to Greece … “Ah! The
Gleek! … How they seek the Gleek!”
The plain English will not suit them.
Oh! The rich nuggets of the plain simple English.
A someone once said “Calvinism is about as deep as a custard skin … skin
deep … and so is
the NKJV!”
How True!
