I headed home
From daily Rome
My stomach filled
with wafer,
Pondering long,
“What is wrong”
They told me
“Nothing’s safer!”
But as I knelt
I know I felt,
(Disquiet was the
word)
Almighty’s not his
name no more,
My tummy now is lord.
Sacrilegious! People cried
All upset with
bother,
Block your ears! Cast
him out!
Drawn and quartered,
Tried!
But they don’t know,
What I’ve just done,
I guess I’ll have to
risk it,
My tummy with the HCl
Dissolved the magic
biscuit.
