“THE UNITY SCHOOL OF CHRISTIANITY”
In
1889, Charles and Myrtle
Fillmore, Kansas, founded The Unity Church. Their goal states that man
and God
are inseparable and that the divine mind of God is in all men, and
perfection,
as attained by Jesus Christ is possible by acknowledging this inner
divinity
and removing the illusion of sin.
This
ignores the scriptures that
union with God requires a penalty for sin and the shedding of blood.
Mere
affirmation and denying the
existence of sin, does not eradicate its effects on a man’s soul.

HERESIES OF THE
UNITY SCHOOL OF CHRISTIANITY ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Denial
of Eternal Security
Denial
of the Sin Nature from Birth
Salvation
through Works
This
heresy is contrary to Romans 11:6; Ephesians 2:8-9. It teaches that
human
effort is required to get saved and to maintain salvation.
Denial
that Jesus Christ is God
This
heresy is contrary to what the King James Bible says in 1John 5:7; John 20:28, Isaiah 9:6; 1 Timothy 3:16 and many others.
Denial
the Holy Ghost is God
This
heresy is contrary to what the King James Bible says in 1 John 5:7; Acts 5:3-4 and many others.
Denial
of a Literal Burning Hell
This
heresy is contrary to what Jesus says in
Matthew 5:22; 25:41 etc
Denial
of the Literal Second Coming of Christ
This
heresy is contrary to the following scriptures Titus 2:13; Acts1:11; Revelation 1:7;
