 Yes, you and the rest of the world are wanting it! How’s it going to happen? When and where will it come from? These are good questions!

The world’s reply

“No worries! Don’t fret! It’s just around the corner! Life goes on! We’ll all get through it!”

The true facts are that very shortly true Christians will be ‘raptured’ off the planet and be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1Thess 4:17). Very soon after, the world will unite and say there is peace and safety – “It was those nasty intolerant Christians that stopped us bringing in world peace.”

Sounds good! A bit far fetched though isn’t it?

I appreciate it’s hard to imagine how this will happen given the chaos in the world today – you know, floods, famine, wars on just about every continent, the CoVid virus, climate change, the threat of rising sea levels, inequalities, job losses, food shortages, financial instabilty and the list goes on – to mention a few. But here’s the ‘good’ news – if you want the world’s peace and safety, do nothing! Just hang on! It’s coming whether you like it or not … and very shortly.

When will this happen?

After the Christians get taken off the earth.

What do you mean?

Look I know you probably don’t have much time for Christianity or the Bible, but here it is, the Bible says “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).

 Now about that time, the world will pronounce peace and safety. The Bible says “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” (1Thessalonians 5:3).

 Yeh right! Look, there’s been lots of predictions and conspiracy theories you know!

I can see you’re not convinced, so there’s one thing you don’t want to do!

 What’s that?

If you want the world’s peace and safety, even though it won’t last long, don’t become a Christian because all you will get in this life is the opposite, as people will hate and avoid you, and in some parts of the world, they will kill you. But being a Christian the only true peace and safety to be had.

 What do you mean?

The Bible says “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.” (Psalm 4:8). This true peace and eternal security can ONLY be found IN Jesus Christ.

 But look, you will get peace and safety either way – it just depends what kind you want!

As stated: “For when they (the world) shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they (that’s you) shall not escape.” (1Thessalonians 5:3).
