He does not want us to burn in hell.

Ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, God has shown that the way back to him … that is … atonement … was through blood. 

“Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” (Genesis 3:21)

God told Adam to kill an animal so that the blood would be an atonement to God for their sin of disobedience. When God sees sin, he demands blood.

All through the Old Testament, men and Israel sacrificed animals for their blood … as a substitute for their own blood that God demanded for their sins. If not, then God would have had to kill everyone … no-one would be left alive.

As Israel continually rejected God, God the Father send God the Son down to earth … manifest in the flesh as follows

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh (this is the Lord Jesus Christ in the flesh … God in the flesh as a man), justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” (1 Timothy 3:16).

God appeared in the flesh as Jesus Christ and lived the perfect and sinless life on behalf of Israel while they continued their sacrifice of animals for past sins (Romans 3:25) …if only they would have believed this.

When Israel rejected Jesus Christ, God then so loved the world … yes Dear Reader … everybody … he opened his love up to all men, such that

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son (Jesus Christ) into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

So God became a man, lived a perfect life and died in our place as Jesus Christ on the cross.  Yes Dear Reader, Jesus Christ paid the penalty for all sins for all time – past, present and FUTURE … his perfect blood (Acts 20:28) … that God demanded for breaking his laws.

Yes Dear Reader, this means that you are wasting your time if you are still trying to atone for past sins and be good enough in the future to get to heaven … your sins have been already paid for 2,000 years ago. WILL YOU BELIEVE THIS? No more to pay … you can’t earn it, work for it or buy it … WHY? … it’s all been done. Believe the gift that Christ has given you.

The whole world’s sins have been paid for – past, present and future. The reason that people go to hell is that they just say “NO” to Jesus to be their Saviour.
