ANSWER: “ABSOLUTELY … I DON’T MIND A FLUTTER!”

EXPLANATION:

This is where “THE LAW OF COMPOUNDING PROBABILITY” pokes its head in the door.

Suppose you flip a coin … the chances of a ‘head’ are 1:2
Suppose you flip the coin again, the chances of a 2^nd head is .1:4 … the chance has decreased to one in four.
Again, for a 3^rd head, the chances are 1:8 … that is one in eight.

Let’s put it another way
Suppose I was to prophecy that there would be an earthquake in Brisbane this year, the chance of that happening would be 1 in 2 that it would occur.

If I added another prediction that it would happen on 23^rd October, 2022, later this year, the chance has decreased to 1 in 4.

If I added another detail that is would happen in the daytime, the chances would be 1 in 8.

If I added another detail, the chances would be 1 in 16.

Now if the details numbered 10, then the chance would be 1 in 1024.

Now there are 25 prophecies made by the Old Testament prophets about the betrayal, trial, death and burial of Jesus Christ.

These were uttered by different prophets during the period from 1000 BC to 400 BC … yet they were literally fulfilled in 24 hours in one person.

According to the above Law of Compounding Probabilities there was one chance in 33,554,432 that these 25 prophecies would be fulfilled.

That is 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 = 33,554,432

This can be written as follows 1:2²⁵

Some of these prophecies are 30 pieces of silver (Zech 11:12); betrayed by a friend (Ps 41:9); scourged (Is 50:6); garments parted (Ps 22:18) … and so on.

We read in Revelation 19:10 that THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS is THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY … that is the purpose of all prophecy is to testify and tell about Jesus Christ.

Now we know that there are 109 prophecies of the Old Testament literally fulfilled at Christ’s first coming, his 1^st Advent.

This number is 2:¹⁰⁹ = 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 … 109 times. This number runs into trillions upon trillions.

Furthermore, of the 845 quotations from the Old Testament in the New Testament, 333 of these are about Christ.

This number is 2:³³³ =  2x2x2x2x2x2x2 … 333 times. This number is an impossible figure … it is trillions, upon trillions, upon trillions upon trillions.

DEAR READER, WHAT’S THE POINT OF ALL THIS?
Would you bet your soul on flipping one coin? Heads you go to heaven and tails you go to the literal burning flames of hell where you will be everlastingly tormented.

Come on! It’s a 50:50 chance!

Of course you won’t!

So considering THE LAW OF COMPOUNDING PROBABILITIES why won’t you get saved?
