QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

QUESTION:
“WHY DOES GOD ALLOW SUFFERING?”

ANSWER: “IF MAN HAS FREEDOM OF CHOICE THEN SUFFERING IS NOT GOD’S FAULT.”

 EXPLANATION:

Have you ever heard of the saying … “Like a fish out of water?”

There’s the story of this fish swimming around under the water.

It sees this man on the shore, face covered in white anti-block Zinc cream, sitting under a beach umbrella, eating a pie with one hand and juggling a fishing rod with the other.

So the fish says to itself “I’m missing out on life ... I’ve got to get where the action is … This is real living … I’m going to become a man!”

So with that, the fish whips it’s tail, manages to fly out of the water, and land into a vacant beach chair.

It then manages to cover it’s face with Zinc cream and grab a pie, but before it can grasp a fishing rod with it’s tail fins, it falls off the chair gasping for air.

With it’s life quickly ebbing away, it finds itself writhing around in the sand, with it’s gills rapidly flapping in an attempt to suck in oxygen,

Just then, an atheist walks by derisively tut-tutting “What sort of a God would create a fish to suffer like that?”

Of course, even a Mental Pygmy or a Barry Nitwit can see that God never made the fish to suffer like that.

So you see that man is like the fish, and has refused to live as God wants him to.

His human ego, imagination and self-will (shall we call it sin?) have caused him to rebel against God.

Man cannot blame God who created all things in beauty and perfection.

It is man who makes up the rules now ... and suffering is the result.

As it has been said, “God created man and now man is returning the favour.”
