GOD OF THE TWO STEPS”
Dear
Reader, ever had the thought
that God deliberately destroyed the ‘originals’?
Was
God caught on the hop with the
destruction of the ‘originals’?
Nay!
He planned it that way.
STEP
ONE:
God’s
1st
RULE
OF THUMB
…
anything created will be perfect …
but then it will be ‘destroyed’!
“God
creates something very good
…
then
‘destroys’ it
Dear
Reader, the following are some
examples of what God does with his perfect created ‘originals’ …
1.
God
creates the heaven and the earth … very
good … but then he drowns the earth in the flood (2 Peter
2:5; 2 Peter 3:5) … ‘destroyed’!
2.
God
let’s man speak with one language and of one
speech … perfect … but then he confounds this unity with many
languages (Genesis 11:7) … ‘destroyed’!
3.
God
has the earth of one mass … perfect …
but then he breaks it up into the different continents (Genesis
10:25; 1 Chronicles 1:19) … ‘destroyed’!
4.
God
creates his elect in Jacob and Israel (Isaiah
45:4) … perfect … but then they are taken into Babylonian
captivity (Jeremiah
29:20) … ‘destroyed’!
5.
God
creates his written manuscripts … the
‘originals’ … perfect … but then he allows them to be destroyed!
PROCESS
TWO:
God’s
2nd
RULE
OF THUMB
…
anything destroyed will be
re-created … not only perfect … but better than
perfect!
“Out
of barrenness and destruction,
God creates perfection”
1.
Abraham and
Sarah were too old to have children
(Genesis 18:11) … barren …
but
then God creates Isaac and
Jacob (Genesis 18:10) … perfection!
2.
Israel
in Babylonian captivity … barren … but
then God returns Israel to their promised land (Deuteronomy 30:3) … perfection!
3.
God
leaves Israel for 400 years (Malachi 4:5) … barren
… but then God sends Jesus to save his people from their
sins
(Matthew 1:21) … perfection!
4.
Christ’s
death on the cross (1 Peter 3:18) … barren
… but with the risen Christ (Romans 14:9) … perfection!
5.
The
heavens and the earth destroyed
by fire (2Peter 3:10, 12) … barren … but replaced by
a new heaven
and a new earth ((Revelation 21:1) … perfection!
6.
Out
of the destruction of the original
manuscripts … barren … God replaces them with The King
James Bible …
perfection!
God
‘destroys’ all things to be
replaced by something more perfect.
God’s
very nature sees him destroy
the perfect ‘originals’ manuscripts … to give us something even better
than
perfect … The King James Bible.
Why?
So God will get all the glory.
God delights in death (Romans 6:4) in order to produce something better
than
perfect.
Dear
Reader, it would be against
God’s character NOT
to
destroy the original manuscripts!
