WRONG WITH CHURCH VOTING?”
But
doesn’t
that make sense? I mean Golf Clubs, Car Clubs and Political parties of
all
colours endorse it?
Yes, but
here’s the problem … churches have taken being a spiritual
member of
Christ’s body and turned it into a physical membership of human
construction.
Nowhere in
Paul’s doctrine is voting mentioned … and Christians follow Paul (1 Corinthians 11:1).
And the
sheep said to the shepherd “Baa Baa … we’ve had a vote to go into that
pasture
and eat.”
And the
shepherd replied “If you do that your stomachs will bloat and be cast
down with
the wrong grass. Best of luck … also watch out for the ‘internal’
wolves!”
THE TEN
CHARACTERISTICS OF A VOTING CHURCH
1. Now
even
under the Old Testament, God said that godly counselling was the way
with “… in the multitude of counsellors
there is safety. (Proverbs 11:14) … not voters!
2. There
are
winners and losers … cliques form within the church … church of
divisions … which eventually see people leave … with the church
suffering a
split. Yes, rigid and controlling factions run around seeing who they
can
convince … to get their votes. Politics and not the gospel prevails.
3. A
voting
church is a Laodicean church … with the people dictating.
Furthermore
these churches have ‘lost the plot’ and become lifeless. They love
tradition.
4. Sheep
do not direct the shepherd as to which pasture on which they should
feed.
5. Church
membership is not a doctrine of Paul’s … Christians follow
Paul.
6. There
is no
distinction between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God …
their
tradition overrides the clarity of God’s words.
7. There
is no
distinction between the three salvations … old testament;
Christ on
earth; new testament … and of course
with another couple in the book of Acts. Once again, God shuts their
eyes to
the truth of scripture.
8. All the
above stem from their church constitution … which is firmly
grounded in
the 8th Mormon tenet which says … “We believe
the Bible is
the word of God as far as it is translated correctly”. Yes, these
are your
good godly independent Baptists using … but not believing … the King
James
Bible. These are your masters of the ‘Greek’.
9. Water
baptisms … coming from their tradition and constitution … which
don’t get
the tick of Paul’s approval.
10. Tithing
… which is an old testament Jewish law construct …
not in
Paul!
