“WHAT IS THE
CATCHPHRASE FOR CLUELESS CHRISTIANS?”
“The
originals …”
Dear
Reader, when you hear someone say “the originals”, you are at liberty
to go up
… and with a big, fat, black felt pen … write the intitials “CC”
on
their foreheads … thereby setting them loose to enjoy their Cain-ish
freedom
(Genesis 4:15-16).
When
Christians
are caught out with a lack of Bible understanding in various
departments, how
often have you heard them say “Well, the originals say this
…” or
“According to the originals … “ and so on.
Yes Dear
Reader, these are your saved, fundamentalist Pastor,
Preacher,
Evangelist, Missionary, Deacon, Bible Teacher, Bishop or Sunday School
Teacher,
who claim that the Bible was his or her final authority on all matters
of faith
and practice … but then plead their case to a pile of unseen,
unread,
unheard of lost papers!
Dear
Reader, are these people two-faced lying hypocrites?
Dear
Reader, we are reminded of the verse …
“But the NATURAL
man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they
are foolishness
unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually
discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14).
And so
Dear
Reader, here we have the description of the aforementioned
Christian
fundamentalists.
“But … but
… but …” comes the chorus from the peanut gallery “the Corinthian verse
applies
only to the unsaved!”
And here’s
the case in point … not able to compare spiritual with
spiritual
… indeed … and not listening to the teaching of the
Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 2:13), the fundamentalist ignores the word “natural” and
substitutes the word “unsaved”.
His
spiritual blindness has him read the verse as …
“But the UNSAVED
man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are
foolishness
unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually
discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14).
But Dear
Reader, the definition of the “natural” man refers to the flesh
and not
the state of the soul as follows …
“And Moses
was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was
not dim,
nor his natural force abated.” (Deuteronomy 34:7) … his
physical flesh.
and again …
“It is sown
a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural
body, and there is a spiritual body.” (1 Corinthians 15:44)
Hardly
cognizant of the Colossian verse of chapter eleven verse two, the
Christian
fundamentalist ignores the fact that his flesh overrides his
listening to
the Holy Ghost and spiritual discernment … and if this is
pointed
out to him … he borders on the hysterical … indeed … conniption.
“The
originals” fundamentalist has no Bible, never seen
the
Bible, never heard the Bible nor any Holy scriptures (Romans
1:2), as
his Bible is not available down here on earth.
Why? It’s
up in the third heaven somewhere.
By saying
that his final authority is the book, that he is holding up in the
pulpit, he
makes himself a two-faced lying hypocrite.
What this lying
deceiver is actually saying is “This Book I am holding up here in
my hand, mimics
… and might be similar to … a nonexistent and invisible
Book that
has been settled forever in heaven (Psalm 119:89).
His final
authority is about as solid as cone of fairy floss that has been left
out in the
fifty degree heat of Death Valley for six months.
The
Christian Fundamentalist, sprouting the phrase “the originals”, is
indeed the Christian
natural man that “… receiveth not the things of the
Spirit of God
… they are foolishness unto him … neither can he know them …
they
are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14).
