IS
DELIVERANCE FROM DEVILS FOR TODAY?
If
you are a Christian, you will
not need for deliverance from Satan or devils, as this happened when
you got
saved and you were “…delivered us from the power of darkness, and
hath
translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Colossians 1:13.
You
will just need to start
living as a Christian in your thoughts, words and deeds. As Paul says
the FIVE
SINS we must not commit are lust, idols, fornication, tempting
Christ,
murmuring. (1Cor 10:6-10), and it’s by these windows being left
open in our
lives, that we invite Satan and his devils back into our lives.
Yes,
it’s called delivering
yourself from sin. As rats and cockroaches appear if food is left lying
around,
then devils will appear if sin is present. Be sober, be vigilant;
because
your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking
whom he may
devour: 1 Pet 5:8
If
you are leaving out the
‘food’ of lusting and wanting and coveting things;
fornicating
that is actual or just in the mind; tempting Christ and
doubting
God’s words and promises; having idols in your life, and these
may not
be physical, but in the mind; and murmuring and complaining.
When
Satan sees these sins, he can attack you. Can you lose your salvation?
No. You
are eternally secure in Christ.
What
is tempting Christ? This
means to speak against God “Where are you God in
this situation?” And the people spake against God, and
against Moses,
Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness?
for
there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our
soul
loatheth this light bread. And the LORD sent fiery serpents among
the
people, and they bit the people; … Numbers 21:5-6 Neither let us
tempt
Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of
serpents.
1 Cor 10:9
All
other deliverance is a total
waste of time and promoted by pastors who can’t understand the
Bible, who
seek their own glory or who may be after your money. There is the
mistaken
belief that devils can’t possess the body of a Christian, but this is
not true
as they can possess and live in the flesh of Christians but they, and
Satan,
can NEVER POSSESS THE SAVED SOUL.
If
you, as saved person, think
you are being inhabited by devils, be comforted with the fact, that you
will be
going to heaven, but then you must ask yourself, what is it in your
life, that
devils think they can come into you? When you Submit yourselves
therefore to
God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. How
do we know
how to live as a Christian? We study Paul and his writings and doctrine
for
Christians in his New testament books from Romans to Philemon.
“WHERE
DID THE BIBLE COME FROM?”
When
God first talked to Adam
in the garden of Eden about 6,000 years ago (Gen 2:19), and told
him about
the history of creation (Genesis chapter 1), Adam wrote it down in “The
Book of
the Generations of Adam” (Genesis 5:1).
Adam
knew Methuselah (Genesis
5:21) personally, and before he died, he handed over all his historical
documents, papers and books to Methuselah. They were then handed over
to Shem,
Noah’s son (Genesis 5:32), who then handed them over to Abraham.
All
documents, books and papers,
were then handed down to Moses who simply compiled and brought
together, all
the previous written history, into the first five books of the Bible,
called “The Book of Moses” (Mark 12:26; Nehemiah 13:1;
2Chronicles 25:4;
Exodus 17:14).
And
this is the way it has
always been with “… holy men of God spake (speaking) as
they were
moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Peter 1:20-21, with what they spoke,
being
written down and recorded.
Further
history was recorded by Joshua,
the Judges of Israel, Saul, David, Solomon,
the Kings,
the Prophets, right down to Malachi, and then, the
recording
duties are taken over by all the writers of the New Testament, starting
with Matthew,
right down to John with his Book of the Revelation.
For
several years, the King
James Bible translators, sifted through all relevant documents and
Bible
translations, and produced the perfect Bible in 1611, in English, to be
distributed throughout the whole world by England. God waited till one
nation,
England, ruled the world, because “The sun never set on the British
Empire”,
meaning the whole world knew the English language.
What
we have today is the 66
books of the English King James Bible, also known as The Authorized
Bible –
perfect, infallible, inspired and without error.
So
we can see the Bible dates
right back to the beginning of the world, and long before any books of
other
religions.
IS
WATER BAPTISM FOR TODAY? NO
So
Paul makes it crystal clear.
Paul said “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach
the
gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should
be made of
none effect.” (1 Corinthians 1:17). People say “Oh, I got
water
baptised as a baby, therefore I must be saved.” The only baptism you
will need
today, is that which occurs, when you get saved. When the jailer
believed on
the Lord Jesus Christ and was saved (Acts 16:31), the Holy Ghost
automatically
baptised him (placed into) Jesus Christ. As the scriptures say For
by one
Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or
Gentiles,
whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one
Spirit. 1
Corinthians 12:13. See that? No water! It’s be the Holy Ghost when
you
believe. Other scriptures are Romans 6:3; Ephesians 4:5; Colossians
2:12.
ARE
TONGUES FOR TODAY? NO
Tongues
were for the Jews at
Pentecost, to show them God was now speaking in 17 other languages to
the
world. Up till then, God had spoken exclusively to the Jew through
their
prophets and holy men (2Pet 1:21). Tongues were a sign of judgment.
Tongues are
not for believers and saved people, but for the unsaved Jew. As the
scriptures
say Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe,
but
to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them
that
believe not, but for them which believe. 1 Corinthians 14:22
Yes,
it’s called healing from
sin. All can expect to be healed in this manner. Study 1Pet 2:24 and Is
53:5
and see the meaning is healing from sin and not physical healing.

Peter 2:24 Who his own self
bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to
sins,
should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Isaiah
53:5 But he was wounded
for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of
our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed (from
sin).
Can
we pray for physical
healing? Of course! According to the Lord’s will for each of us. A lot
of
physical problems can simply be from a bad diet, lack of exercise or
staying up
too late.
IS
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP FOR TODAY? NO
The
only membership you will
need today, it to be a member of Christ’s body, and that occurs when
you first
believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. And hath put all things under his
feet,
and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is
his body,
the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians 1:22-23. Churches
want you to become church members to bring you under their bondage with
their
constitutions. 1. You will tithe 2. If you don’t
attend for 6
weeks you will be struck off 3. You will believe our doctrine
and not
what the Bible says … and so on.
IS
TITHING FOR TODAY? NO
God
owns it all. When we study
2Corinthians chapters 8 and 9, we see that God loves a cheerful giver
(2 Cor
9:7). Tithing was the commandment under the Old Testament law. We are
not to
just to give 10%, but 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% and more. BUT IF YOU WON’T
DO IT
CHEERFULLY, IT WILL BE A SIN ON YOUR ACCOUNT.
WHERE
DO I FIND IN THE BIBLE HOW TO LIVE
MY
LIFE AS A CHRISTIAN?
Study
Paul in his 13 books of
Romans to Philemon.
ARE
DENOMINATIONS FOR TODAY? NO
Get
saved,
believe and study the King James Bible, and
follow Paul. Do we follow Christ? Absolutely! And Paul shows us
how to
as Christians Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 1
Corinthians 11:1.
Do
not be a Baptist, Methodist,
Presbyterian or any other Christian denomination or you will be blinded
by
their wrong doctrines and their choice of bad Bibles eg NIV, Good News,
NASB etc.
If you can’t read or speak English, then do the best you can with the Bible in your own language.
